Can I be involuntarily committed if I go to a hospital for wound care? I am thinking about making a large cut on my thigh/middle of leg and am wondering what would happen if I went to the hospital to get it stitched. I've only ever done epidermis/dermis cuts, but I am determined to do something big. I don't want to die though, and was wondering if I had to get wound care at the hospital if they would commit me somewhere.
