Hello, for the past 9 months my AST has generally been around 60 and ALT around 90, some months almost dropping to the normal range, but sometimes rising. My hepatitis tests are clear, as are my bilirubin and GTT. Today the doctor told me to do a biopsy He suggested I do it, but I'm worried it could cause cancer, so I'm asking for your advice.

I’ve been experiencing constipation for the past month, and my stool is usually covered with mucus. Sometimes it gets better for a day, but then it comes back. Within this month, I’ve also seen a small amount of bright red blood in my stool about five times. It’s often mucus-like, and I’m very worried. What do you think it could be?
