Can I tone clip ins

I’ve decided to buy real human hair clip ins from beauty works until my hair is long again. My issue is the color. Currently my hair is light brown, if I order light brown extensions, can I tone them or is that very damaging ? The extensions are quite expensive so I don’t want to risk it. Or I tone my natural hair and get darker extensions. But then I definitely can’t lighten them.

What do I do?
I have attached pics of me currently. One light brown one dark. This is my natural hair. I’ve never worn extensions. I just cut it short couple days ago and I can’t cope with it.

What hair color suits me

Please help. My hair is currently light brown, slightly ginger due to me being blonde before. I really like it, it makes my face look very soft. I love dark brown as well, because it makes me look paler which I like. I just can’t decide

Extensions for girls with thick hair naturally

I have very thick hair. When I say thick, I mean THICK. I bleached it blonde for a year and it did not break or become thin once. I have very good hair genes. Despite that, my hair of course was damaged, naturally, from all the bleach and heat I used over the years. I have very long hair and decided after 6 years to trim my ends. This hair dresser cuts off almost 9 inch.
Anyway, I have not been the same. I don’t feel like myself and I’ve been crying non stop. My long hair was a part of me and i honestly don’t feel beautiful anymore.

Now my question is, what are the best hair extensions for people with thick hair? I never thought in my life I would ever have to wear extensions. I have no clue about them. I am also assuming I need at least 280g put in as I have so much hair. Maybe with my type of hair, it’s not even possible. I would appreciate any help. Yes I’m dramatic but i genuinely feel like I lost a part of me lol. I will attach some pics of my hair before and after. Last two pics are of my hair currently.
Even tho I know it’s still considered “long” it’s nowhere near as long as it was before.
