Where is the money in the HR industry?
Hello! For context, i am an incoming 3rd year psychology student. I recently landed an internship and i primarily do recruitment. People often tell me that walang pera sa HR, and while i do want to focus on psychology talaga, mas lalong walang pera dun. So i am stuck here, being an HR seems like the practical decision in my path. Right now, i’m under the impression that recruitment pays more compared sa other roles in HR industry. However, it is so tiring. Reaching the KPI, handling applicants, having a lot of meetings and interviews in a day. I’m just an jntern yet it feels like there is no work - life balance here since you really need to overtime if you want to have enough pool or to even get commissions.
I’m just thinking lang if it’s the only option. Is there other fields in the HR that pays well aside from recruitment? Money is really a big thing for me since i am not privileged and my parents aren’t getting younger. I hope i could get insights on the possible paths i could take. Thank you!
