My pitch for how the show should end if it does end.
Okay. So my idea is that the Black Organization discovers Conan is Shinichi and decides to destroy his life. First they attack Agasa at his house then Megure while he's not on patrol to show the cops can't save him. Then they attack Ran and Kogoro with Kogoro getting a broken arm and bleeding head but Ran barely survives bleeding profusely, scared, and wounded. At the hospital Ran is in critical condition with the next few hours determining her fate. Conan then after seeing this blames himself believing that all he does is bring crime and death to wherever he goes and decides that the only way to keep the people he loves safe is to run away and disappear for good. Thats basically his arc. He basically lays low living of 24 hour cafes to not be seen while Haibara tries to find him. Soon the Black Organization find him broken in a warehouse and Gin points a gun to his head. Conan is only just saved by Hattori and Haibara who want him back but he breakdown explaining that he's not a hero and that he only brings death wherever he goes and now the girl he loves is on deaths door. The 2 remind him of those he has stopped, those he has helped and how Ran needs him grow than ever. So he returns and with their and a recovered Agasa's help manage to capture Gin, Vodka, and Vermouth via strategy. At the end Conan visits Ran in the hospital and explains everything then takes a permanent antidote to turn back to Shinichi explaining everything.
