Trying not to make another terrible financial decision.

Hey, I have been on a terrible road with Record players so far.

My parents initially bought me a fairly cheap crosly suit case kinda thing, and that was constantly skipping my records. So I knew that was not the one.

Then my parents paid a little more for one of those Victrola big box like things. And after it broke, and damaged one of my records. I did more research and found out you guys really do not approve of any built in ANYTHING record players.

So I was doing a little research today, and I'm thinking about getting an RT82. I have no clue how to operate a turntable compared to whatever it was I was using before. I don't have speakers, or a pre-amp.

So if anyone has tips, suggestion, or guidance as to what I should buy, and how much I should dedicate to this is a hopefully permanent solution to my current lack of a record player, I will be thankful.

Trying not to spend a ton of money, but don't want to be disappointed either.
