Hey guys,

After attempting to get TN status twice, once at the Rainbow Bridge POE and once at the Billy Bishop preclearance, I was told today at Billy Bishop that I can't apply at any POE or Customs anymore, rather it has to be done through USCIS. The 1st time I was told that I had to get the Official Transcript and the 2nd time I was told that the TN Support Letter wasn't detailed enough. Today being the 3rd time, the officer at the airport was actually in the process of writing up the TN but the supervisor stated the above.

Is there actually a limit on how many times the TN can be attempted irl and if not what could be the reason? Also, will I not be able to attempt to get TN status regardless of whether I receive a different offer from another company?

Hi everyone,

I got an offer for a Project Engineer position and I have a Bachelors of Engineering in Civil Engineering.

Would just the physical degree be enough for TN status or do I need the official transcript as well? I have the official transcript printed from the official Mycred website already.

Also are TN appointments needed for the Buffalo POE's? The next available appointments are in a month.

Hi guys,

I wanted to ask if just using an official sealed transcript without the physical degree diploma would work to attain TN status? The official transcript states that I have gotten a degree, as shown below anyway. I missed graduation and didn't pick up the diploma, so it was destroyed after a year. If I order another diploma it will take 6-8 weeks to be ready.

Hey guys!

I've gotten an opportunity in New York for an engineering position. The start date is on the 18th of May. However, the TN letter still hasn't arrived in the mail. If it does come in the 18th or after, would that be an issue when getting the visa?

Also, I didn't obtain my official degree paper since I couldn't make it to grad and just didn't bother picking it up after. Would it be viable to show/share them my degree from the official online degree website, MyCreds?
