Hi everyone… I’m reaching out with a heavy heart.

My wife and I have lost both our jobs this March. We tried to hold on through April, selling our belongings just to get by, hoping something would turn around—but nothing came. Now we’ve made the painful decision to return home to the Philippines… but we cannot imagine leaving behind our family.

Bagheera, our 2-year-old British Longhair, and Mowgli, our 6-year-old Border Collie mix, are not just pets—they are our children. They’ve been with us through everything, and the thought of abandoning them here breaks us completely.

We’ve already tried to manage everything on our own, even applying for permits ourselves, but the process has been overwhelming. That’s why we turned to a relocation company, and while they’ve been helpful, the cost is something we simply can’t afford anymore after everything we’ve been through.

We are now humbly asking for any help—no matter how small—to bring our babies home with us. Every bit will go directly toward their relocation. We are more than willing to provide full transparency: receipts, quotations, updates—everything.

If you’re unable to donate, even sharing this post would mean the world to us.

We’ve lost so much already… we just don’t want to lose them too.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story. 🙏🐾

We have received some donations before, and we are truly grateful. To ensure full transparency and trust, all donations will go directly to the relocation company handling our pets’ journey home.

I don’t really know where else to turn, so I’m posting here hoping someone might understand or offer advice.

I’m a 26M living in the UAE with my wife, our dog (6-year-old female), and our cat (2-year-old male). Last month,Me and wife lose our job coz of the war, and since then we’ve just been trying to survive day by day. We’ve stretched everything we had, sold whatever items we could, and managed to get through another month—but now we’re one month behind on rent, and we’ve reached a point where we can’t keep going like this.

We’ve made the heartbreaking decision to return to our home country. The problem is, we have nothing left. My gratuity went straight to paying off loans, and we don’t have any savings to fall back on. Even the airfare alone is already more than we can realistically afford right now.

But the hardest part isn’t even that—it’s our pets.

Our dog and cat aren’t just animals to us. They are our family. They’ve been with us through everything, and the thought of leaving them behind honestly breaks us. We’ve looked into every option we could find. Pet relocation costs are extremely high, and even repatriation programs from our country don’t include pets.

I’ll be honest—posting this is really hard for me. I’m very introverted and have ADHD, and I don’t usually ask for help like this. But right now, I’m trying to push past that and do whatever I can for them.

We’re trying to pool whatever funds we can to cover our pets’ airfare and basic relocation needs, but we’re still far from what’s required.

If anyone has gone through something similar, knows any affordable options, organizations, or even has advice on how we can manage this situation, we would be truly grateful. Even sharing this post means a lot to us.

We love the UAE—it has been our second home. This is not how we ever imagined leaving.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
