How long before symptom improvement

I recently completed a sleep study test with Lofta due to 5+ year history of bruxism (where a night guard to protect teeth), sleeping 9+ hours of sleep and still feeling tired, restlessness, and low HRV.

additional notes: allergic to dust mites and dogs (and we have a golden doodle); i intermittently use antihistamine/corticosteroid nose spray because long term use messes up my nose. A sleep NP that’s a friend of a friend looked in my mouth and says I have a high pallete

I ordered an Aircurve 10 v auto. It took me a couple of weeks to find a mask that fit my face so now I have like 10 days where I had an appropriate amount of leak.

When should I feel better? The lofta RT said she was hopeful since my AHI were low but it was always low; and she says the machine doesn’t show RDI but that if AHI comes down RDI comes down. Again, makes no sense to me.

I’m pretty new to all of this and still learning. Do I need to wait longer? Try cpap or bipap instead of auto?
I’ve come across recs on here to see an airway dentist - should I do that? How would that help?

Appreciate any thoughts

Ceraves new mineral sunscreen is 💯

This is the most elegant mineral sunscreen I have tried that is easily accessible and reasonably priced. And I’ve tried them all. Drugstore mineral sunscreens are usually thick and unpleasant to use, leave the white cast (and I’m fair skinned). Chemical sunscreens burn my family’s eyes so for the face it has to be mineral. Cerave knocked it out of the park. The bottle is small but I kinda like that because it’ll fit in my purse!

Update: a few people have commented that this is actually not a completely mineral sunscreen as there are other ingredients that are known to be chemical sunscreens. Very disappointing. I do not have high hopes that my family‘s eyes will tolerate this, but will try it on them nonetheless and report back.

Help on picking itinerary

Curious to get people’s thoughts on which itinerary is better for 2 adults and a 5 year old. We have not visited any national parks before. We are hoping to rent a camper that we drive around OR rent a car and stay at a camper that gets delivered/picked up from campsite. Need itinerary then will figure out those details.

Trip would be sat to sun in August

Do we visit glacier, Yellowstone, and grand Teton (and fly out of Bozeman) OR visit banff and glacier

Appreciate any insight!

I’m new to bipap and have a Resmed vauto 10. WatchPAT said I had AHI 1 and RDI 14. I’m prone to nasal congestion, bruxism (wear a nightguard to protect my teeth), and seem to open my mouth at night though I don’t think I’m breathing from it? I like to sleep on my side and typically flip from side to side at night.
The Phillips dreamwear mask was the first I got; I think I get the best seal with the small mask and small headpiece but after a few shifts in bed the mask shifts a bit, I can hear air, I try to reposition, it doesn’t work, then I take off the mask out of annoyance.
I got a nasal pillow mask as well but that one was an even more of a mystery as to how to position for maximum seal.

Lofta RT recommended the following masks last week as alternatives if I decided to try something else.

Evora hybrid - all sizes
Resmed f40 -
Resmed f20 - tradl full face mask

Suggestions??

I have this ficus tenake that has exploded in this self watering pot. Is it time to repot her?
If so, I imagine I’ll have to cut the plastic right?

Hi! I’m looking for some tips and tricks for a week long family trip I’m Planning for August

2 adults + 5 year old

Thinking that we Fly from CLT into Kalispell (FCA) → Fly out of Bozeman (BZN) (JAC is $1200 more) so we can do Glacier —> Yellowstone —> grand Teton

Our ideal scenario is renting a drivable RV in our arrival city and leaving it in departure city

Thoughts on

- itinerary?

- Airport locations?

- is the one way RV rental realistic?

- any other tips
