Few months ago, I consulted a tarot reader about my situation (I have been looking for a job since the past 6+ months). I had just began a new interview process and was 1 round into it. She drew 5 cards and mentioned that the process will be slow but grounded and between 23rd July and 23rd Aug a new offer would come. Fast forward, I made it through all rounds just to get rejected in the final round. They let me know they picked someone else on 15th Aug.

I talked to her again and now she changed the goal post saying she does not see me without a job by end of sept and things like the company that rejected may come back (which rarely happens in corporate hiring).

Deep down I knew this would be BS but I guess my mind was trying to put some time structure to the chaos.

This is my 6th year doing Murph and the fastest. Sharing below what I have been doing since the last 1 year for pacing and building the muscle endurance. I specifically started training for Murph to improve my time since July of last year. I dropped down from 191 lbs to 171 lbs (5’9/M) which helped.

I did several half murphs with and without the 1 mile run to find my muscle fatigue limiters and engine limiters.
V1: 5-10-15 x 20 rounds / with vest, no vest
V2: 800 m run and half murph (unpartioned)
V3: 1 mile run, half murph, 1 mile run (unpartioned)
V4: 10-20-30 murph (no run)
V5: 300 pushups with a vest , 1 mile run
V6: 500 squats with a vest , 1 mile run

2021: 14lbs vest, 5-10-15 , time 1:02:22
2022: 14lbs vest, 5-5-7-5-8, time 59:58
2023: 20lbs vest, cindy, time 1:06:34
2024: 20lbs vest, 10-20-30, 1:03:49
2025: 20lbs vest , Straight through, 1:13:12
2026: 20lbs vest, Straight through, 55:22

I stayed for about 45% time in Zone 5. 20% in Zone 4, 18% in Zone 3, rest Zone 2
