Had a lower molar extraction about 8 days ago, have been eating normally for the last few days and pain is minimal, just discomfort mainly at this stage. This is my first dental extraction (hopefully the last for a while) so just want to be sure without having to pay £80 for a dentist visit for them to tell me nothing is wrong.
I had a sedated extraction on one of my lower right molars and it was my first extraction so I’m not sure what to expect. Upon checking today, the site of extraction looks slightly less full (?) than it did yesterday. Some minor pain and swelling still but nothing more so than the initial after pain was on day 2/3. Is it normal for it to be slightly less as it heals? Slightly terrified of it worsening and the dreaded DS after reading horror stories here
