Hi all,
I’m currently staying at Marriott Marbella Beach Resort and have been offered a Marriott Vacation Club “come back” preview package.
For context, on this current trip I paid around £300 per night for a 2-bedroom apartment and stayed 4 nights, so this preview offer looks much cheaper on paper.
The offer is for a 4-day / 3-night stay in a 2-bedroom apartment sleeping up to 6 people at Marriott’s Playa Andaluza / Costa del Sol area.
The pricing I was given:
- €299 total for low season: 1 Nov–31 May
- +€50 per night supplement for mid-season: June, Sept, Oct, half-term
- +€100 per night supplement for high season: July, August, Easter, Christmas/New Year
So roughly:
- €299 total low season
- €449 total mid-season
- €599 total high season
The catch is that we have to attend a 90-minute Marriott Vacation Club sales presentation. Terms say couples need to attend together, and the presentation can’t be done on arrival or departure day. Flights, breakfast, transport, and Bonvoy points are not included.
We’re a family with a young child, so the accommodation value looks decent compared with what I paid this time, but I’m cautious because it’s obviously a sales pitch.
For anyone who has done one of these Marriott Vacation Club preview stays:
Was the 90-minute presentation actually only 90 minutes?
Was there heavy pressure to buy?
Did they honour the package price even if you said no?
Any hidden fees, blackout dates, or availability issues?
Would you do it again just for the cheap stay?
Anything specific I should get confirmed in writing before paying?
I’m not planning to buy anything during the presentation — just trying to work out whether the discounted stay is genuinely worth the hassle.
