These are our little cuties, Bernie and Darwin. Our 9 year old (human) son is very interested in genetics and wants to know what kind of dogs they are. They’re both rescues but we are in a situation where we have contact with the former owners and we’ve been told:

- Bernie

is a Husky / Coll

Apologies if this doesn’t belong here…
Our science-obsessed 3rd grader is having a soft intro to genetics at the end of the year and they did the ‘can you roll your tongue?’ thing. He cannot, he can only do this. I’ve never seen this. His dad and I are both tongue-rollers. He would love to know why.
