Premarket strength across big tech, what’s behind it?

Seeing broad strength across big tech in premarket today, including names like NVDA, MSFT, AAPL, META, and AMZN.

I’m trying to figure out whether this is mostly
macro-related (yields / rate expectations),
continued AI and semiconductor momentum,
or just short-term positioning into the open.

What I’m watching is whether QQQ and semis hold these gains after the bell, or if this turns into another fade once regular trading starts.

Curious how others are reading it today. Not a trade call, just trying to understand the driver behind the move

What are you watching after the open today?

We’re into the session now, and I’m more interested in what holds than the first spike.

Watching a few things early:

  • whether the open has follow-through or fades
  • whether mega caps are carrying everything again
  • whether small caps and financials confirm the move
  • whether this turns into a clean trend day or just morning chop

My focus right now is on SPY, QQQ, IWM, plus the usual big tech names for leadership.

What’s the most interesting setup on your screen so far?

The market sentiment from the morning session has largely dissipated

As things stand, the market is still digesting external disturbances; while the indices haven't spiraled completely out of control, they haven't yet demonstrated a particularly strong offensive momentum either.

Going forward, the key focus remains on whether tech stocks can once again take the lead. If the main assets hold steady, there's still a chance for a recovery this afternoon; if they continue to weaken, then today will most likely be a period of consolidation and digestion. What's your take on this?
