By all accounts, the attack on Eden Prime was an open declaration of war. While it’s understandable that the Geth were perceived as an enigmatic race that may not have official diplomatic channels or communications, why did the Alliance not mobilise its military and invade Geth space like they did on Shanxi?
Commander Shepherd is even given a mission to attack 4 Geth outposts on the borders of Alliance territory, that alone is further provocation for a military response.
100 of thousands, perhaps 100s of millions or even greater numbers if years, and the relay network stayed intact. The Mu relay was dislodged by a supernova… So how over possibly hundreds of millions of years (I’m basing this on how they say an entire species is needed to complete a single Reaper (so lets say 10-15 reapers per cycle, tens of thousands of reapers in the current timeline = ATLEAST a few hundred million years.
It could even be in the billions due to the attrition rate per cycle.
Nonetheless, stellar timescales would inevitably affect the network. E.G the Charon relay was frozen over, Mu relay dislodged, Omega relay was special permissions only.
I think atleast in the next game, the relay network should be something like Gateways in Stellaris.

Ive been replaying the trilogy and noticed something. The galactic extinction cycle depends on species developing to a certain ‘standard’ every 50,000 years or so and the entire galaxy has been described as having only 1% of its worlds explored due to the nature of light distances, and the relay network itself.
So the galaxy is always populated by dense islands if civilisation, whilst the rest is ‘wild space’
I understand that the whole point is that civilisations will develop on the paths set for them by the Reapers, I.E only using Mass Effect drives as a means of travel, thus eliminating the impetus to develop other technology for travel.
But in roughly 10s maybe 100s if millions of years, not even a single species was able to either reverse engineer the technology and understand it themselves, or develop new tech to explore the rest if the galaxy where relays aren’t prevalent.
Hi in 24-25 I was working for my brother unofficially for his company (I.E no contract, irregular hours and paid via bank transfer not PAYE through HMRC).
I have now been offered a role for a major bank and they are completing extensive employment checks. I earnt slightly more than the tax threshold at the time but to be frank, I just assumed HMRC would contact me about it because when I calculated it, it was about £64.
However my new job are asking about the 14 months of employment I had but why there are no records.
Unfortunately I am no longer in contact with my brother at all and an unsure on how to best deal with the scenario.
In this instance, would I need to submit a self assessment for that 2024-2025 period showing that I earnt X amount during this time, which I can evidence via bank transfers made to me.
This would then mean HMRC would now have records that would satisfy the checks my new job are conducting.
Any help would be appreciated.
To all accounts, Turians evolved on Palaven’s weak magnetic field and developed a hard exterior metallic carapace. To the scientists among us, would this mean they would be susceptible to… I dont know… magnetic weaponry?

Hi Ive been told that I need to attend my job centre (not an appointment) to verify bank details but over 7 or so years I’ve never once been asked to do this, they’ve always just accepted them via the gov website.
Is this a new thing?
It always confused me because surely these two galactic superpowers would have had more interaction and possibly conflict?
I know there are a few mentions of interactions between the two but does anybody know of any definitive source material where I can research more into this?
