Rocket panels?

I have a 2026 Model Y that I am doing a full front PPF on. I also have mud flaps. I live in the South and drive o pretty good roads.

Do you think it's worth it to spend $600 to do the rocker panels? I know the full front is *worth it* but not sure about the rocker panels.

Thoughts?

PPF after ceramic coating? Thoughts?

I got full ceramic coating on my brand new model Y last Wednesday so it hasn't been a week yet and then I decided that I now want to do full Front PPF. I know I should've done this before the ceramic coating, but I thought I was going to pass and now I feel like I really need the PPF. I have a shop that will charge me $2000 for XPEL full front PPF and they said they can remove the ceramic coating. I wanted to see if anybody has any experience with this if I should just skip the PPF if it's pretty easy for them to remove the ceramic coating without getting into the factory paint/basecoat, etc. I honestly feel like I need the ceramic coating the PPF because I keep reading so much online and it seems like everybody has PPF and my car is going to be trashed if I don't get it. So I'm curious what your opinion is and if I should let the shop remove the coating and apply PPF.

I ordered the OEM Tesla mudflaps for my model wide Juniper and I cannot figure out how to install these. There's no place for these two little tabs to lock onto. This is the second set that I ordered because I thought the first pair was for the wrong car, but they sent me these again the second time can someone please help

Tesla Model Y Windshield Replacement Experience

I picked up my new 2026 Model Y AWD Juniper this past Friday and was disappointed to find what appears to be a piece of dust in the laminate of the glass. I could likely get Tesla to replace the windshield however, I'm a bit nervous about replacing a windshield on a brand new car and possibly introducing other issues.

To anyone who has had a windshield replaced on a Juniper could you tell you had it done? Did it appear as good as it it did on delivery day after the repair was done?

I'm thinking of just letting it go and leaving it as is, as the piece of dust is likely better than other possible outcomes...

XPEL XR Plus Tint Job

Yesterday I put tint all the way around. I did 30% on my front windows, 55% on all rear windows and 70% on windshield and roof. My car has white interior and some of the comments about the blue hue of the XR plus made me a bit nervous, but I'm glad I did it - it looks fantastic and the blue hue isn't a big deal at all.

I know you don't really have to get the roof done, but I did it anyways. I'm in Texas and figure it couldn't hurt.

I'm really happy with all this came out!

I have a 2026 MY Juniper Premium, quicksilver with white interiror arriving soon and looking at Tint options.

I was considering doing either Llumar Stratos or XPEl XR Plus on the side and back window. Due to the upgraded room on the Juniper I’m going to skip the roof tint, and for window go with Lamar 70 or XPEL XR Plus 70 clear.

I’m nervous after reading the reviews that the XPEL product is going to produce a blue hue that will be super annoying and I’ll think about it every time I get in the car. On the other hand I heard one of the Llumar product for the windshield has more of a blue hue than the XPEL.

I read that the blue hue is even worse with the white seats.

There is so much information online and I’m a bit overwhelmed by it all.

Can anyone give me real thoughts on this. Is the XPEl Plus tint that big of a deal, should I could with the Llumar product? I know the internet makes bigger deals out of things sometimes the it really is.

Looking for some real wisdom here.
