Boyfriend 22 M doesn’t like to come out with me 24 F
Have been together for a year n a half now. I am more extrovert than he is and I always knew that. But when his family would have events I was always happy to go with him. When I first met his mom she did not like me but I would always go with him to visit her to show respect. But when it comes to my family events he would complain immediately and ask me if he has to go and throw a fit. I always compromised with him and put a time limit on hanging out with my family events though sometimes I wanted to stay longer I never said anything. When we go to his side we will stay late and I will talk to everyone and enjoy my time there. My boyfriend will be on his phone and not want to talk to anyone even though my cousins would try. Same thing with bars. have been talking about this with him and telling him how it makes me feel. He tells me that he doesn’t care about spending time with my family the only people is my parents and siblings. He’s happier if I leave him behind but I am very big with family and it’s important to me for myself to get along with his family and for him to bond with my family. I need thoughts and opinions about this.
