Is it smart to buy a corvette 21

I’m 21 and currently in university. I’ve worked a decent amount of internships and co ops so far, and I’ve managed to save around $60k, with most of it invested instead of sitting in cash.

I’ve really wanted a C7 Corvette Stingray for a while now, and here in Ontario they seem to go for around $50k to $60k CAD depending on mileage and spec. My dad would probably help out with around $10-15k as well, and I’d be paying the rest fully in cash, no financing.

Part of me feels like I’m in a pretty solid position for my age, but another part of me wonders if spending that much on a car at 21 is financially dumb, especially since it would be such a large percentage of my net worth.

For people who were into cars when they were younger, did you regret buying the fun car early or regret waiting too long? Would you do it in my position, or keep investing and wait a few more years?

Edit: right now I’m driving a 2014 Lexus is 350 so I suppose I definitely do not need another car

Need opinions. I’m a BTM student and got 2 Fall 2026 offers, one for Microsoft, and one at AMD:

Microsoft Business Analyst Intern, Toronto hybrid, $38/hr. big name and decent return offer chances.

AMD Product Operations Intern, Markham, $34/hr. More technical and, working around AI/hardware launches.

I’m interested in product management/tech strategy long term. Idk which to pick as I believe Microsoft is a much bigger name but AMD also is pretty known to give return offers too
