In this ranking NCRB used 2011's population of Nagpur and 2024's crime report(NCRB releases this list more that 1yr after the year) and no of murders per 100k is not actually 3.5 since population of Nagpur in 2024 was more than 5 million(its was 4.5million in 2011).

Is there a crime problem in Nagpur-YES

Should nagpur be safer and this rate go down-YES.

I just wanted to point out that this number is actually less than 3 and nagpur is not top 3

( this list is only for 19 metro cities not all indian cities)
