Files copied from Ubuntu to Windows 10 C:\ are invisible to Explorer but visible in Everything — can't open, rename, copy, or delete. Need a way to access ALL files on C:\ without restrictions.

I have a really frustrating problem on Windows 10. I copied some files from Ubuntu directly into C:\ (the root of the system drive). Windows Explorer does not detect them at all. However, if I use Everything (voidtools), the files appear and Everything says they are located in C:\. But I cannot open them, copy them, rename them, or delete them. Nothing works.

The strange part: in Everything, the file names look completely normal. There are no weird characters, no trailing dots or spaces, no extremely long paths. Just normal names. They always showed up normally before, but after copying them from Ubuntu, Windows won't let me access them at all.

What I've tried:

· 7-Zip: it doesn't see the files.

· Linux tools like ntfsls, fsntfsinfo, ntfstool: they don't show the files either.

· I'm looking for an application that can access files with forbidden names, or a command to access ALL existing files on C:\ without restrictions.

Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it? I need to recover these files. I'm willing to use command line, PowerShell, WSL, a Linux live USB, or any tool. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
