I need to stay in manipal for 3 nights can you please suggest a place to stay. Need close to MIT. 4th year student

So basically the title. My primary stack is React and nodejs. I got placed (2026) batch and they hired me as an intern where my primary tasks were in react for the majority of the part.

Now my team is changing as a full timer into C++ and I feel a little scared. I have never worked with C++ in depth and used it maybe just for DSA and nothing else. So is there any advice for me by any experienced C++ devs

Okay this has happened to me 4-5 times by now. Happened 3-4 times in kasthuri nagar and once in yelhanka today.

Okay so idk if this is a scam or not. I can be gullible.

So whenever the road is dug up for some pipeline work, around 5-6pm there is this man with his family, who approaches me asking me if I know Marathi or Hindi. Then he proceeds to tell me that he came from Maharashtra to do pipeline work here and the contractor did not pay them. They wanna go home and want money. Not a lot just 100rs to go back home. This man has a family, wife kid and sometimes an old lady. Now I refused to give money thinking it's scam, so they start asking food. Nothing great just biscuits or chips.

This thing has happened quite a few times. Same script all the time. Same kind of families.

Now this is probably a scam, but I am still skeptical.

1. They are from Maharashtra as they do speak in Marathi (I understand a bit)

2. When we refuse money they ask for some food. They don't pester about the money. And that too it's like 20-30 rs worth of food. It's not life changing or anything so what are they using that food for.

3. The kid is usually young like 1 or 2 years old. If they kidnapped the kid there would be some form of missing reports or anything. Also the kid does not look drugged like what's going on..

This is making me question. Are these people genuine. Is there really a contractor employee these people and not pay, because this country is corrupt and the poor suffer the most. So i won't be surprised if that's the case

It could very well be a sacm because same script and same people all the time

Are there any book clubs around Bhartiya City or any other place ?
