I am starting the pill. My question is, how disruptive was your first week or two? I am going away next weekend and I would rather not be dealing with side effects while I’m traveling. Would you wait to start after your trip or should I just start now and get it in my system.

New 2LT here! Just commissioned and I’m still waiting to be placed in my unit. Is this normal? I did get a schedule for the unit I’m supposed to go to and AT is at the end of the month. What are the chances I’ll be inserted right before we leave (AT is out of state). Also any tips for a freshly minted 2LT?
