Hello fellow Bs! I’m strongly contemplating buying either the Dyson or the Shark air wrap hair styler. For context, I hate doing my own hair but after years of covid and then early parenting, I’ve aged out of my hair looking presentable in a more “natural” state. I’d like to be more presentable, especially for my job. So, is there anywhere in the Boston area or in Boston I can go try out before buying?
Have been on the fence about booking a last minute trip over the summer there. The weather appears to be highly unpredictable and it appears to be cold and/or rainy a lot. I am concerned about needing to stay indoors and it being crowded. Also, are there a lot of mosquitos on hikes? Has anyone been this summer and can comment on the weather and how it impacts things? Is there enough to do indoors if the weather is bad? Is it crowded?
Need advice on how to extinguish bad language picked up from other kids at preschool.
My 4.5 year old is mostly fine, but I am having trouble figuring out how to get her to stop saying certain words. She says them with intention and knows both what they mean and also that we don’t like them.

My next idea is basically to interrupt whatever activity we are doing to make her understand that this is serious. Like going home from the park etc. But that also seems exhausting.
Any ideas? I have no idea what to do and I need her to understand that she needs to cut it out.
Moving back to the area and looking to narrow down a list of suitable rental buildings in the area. Is there a place to find such a list? Specifically looking for family friendly buildings with 2-3 beds available and laundry in unit or building as a worst case. Parking for one car, as well. Bonus if there are kid amenities in the building or community. Location must be Brookline, Newton, JP, West Roxbury, Watertown. Most of my family and friends in the area are owners or have not moved in quite some time.
