Paying Rent with Qatar Airways Card (3x avios) gives ZERO Qpoints
Bilt and the Qatar Airways credit card recently made a splashy announcement that rent payments would earn 3x avios. Awesome!
Normally, spending with the card gives 2 Qpoints (status points) per 1500 avios earned. I made a payment, which posted as the base avios + 2 bonus avios. However, instead of earning the qpoints on the payment, I received zero Qpoints: none on the bonus avios, as expected, but also none on the base avios. I've been going back and forth with Cardless customer support, who has said that bilt payments don't earn any qpoints and they point to the terms and conditions. However, the terms and conditions state it posts as 1 base avio and 2 bonus avios and that "BONUS" avios don't earn qpoints.
Anyway, just putting it out there so people know. Since qpoints are valuable to me, I won't be using bilt for rent anymore and will just pay my landlord directly.
