Bad Experience- Gemforher Jewellery store

I am making a seperate post about my experience with another online store - Gem For Her Wedding Store
I placed an order with them in May, and they promised delivery by July 15th. I wanted to have it shipped to Canada, and it’s now been over a month past that date with no real update. Every time I follow up, I get the same vague responses- “it’s in the making,” “it’s being shipped to the store,” “we’re receiving batches today and will send it out soon”- but nothing actually arrives.
If anyone else has ordered from them or is considering it, please be cautious. I know it’s always best to go to a physical store. But I am abroad and I have to rely on online store and get the item shipped to my parents and then they take care of it for me.

Elizabeth Vivin and Andria

Hey everyone, just curious if anyone else has been following this or has the tea. If I remember correctly, when the brand Taneli launched, Elizabeth Vivian was heavily associating with Andria, and it was originally framed as a venture started by three friends. Later on, Andria quietly stopped being a part of it. Now, Andria just launched her new store in Thrissur (Itiha) and I noticed Elizabeth wasn't there at all, nor did she post any wishes or support on social media.

charged CAD $2,117 after immediate cancellation — 7 weeks, no refund. Need advice.

Long time Marriott loyalist here. My family spent nearly a continuous year staying exclusively at Marriott properties for work. We love this brand. What’s happened recently has genuinely broken my heart.

Here’s what happened:

On April 13, I accidentally booked a cash reservation at a Fairfield in Kansas City instead of using my Bonvoy points. I called Marriott customer care within minutes and the agent confirmed the cancellation. At no point was I told a cancellation fee would apply.

Six days later on April 19, Marriott charged CAD $2,117.53 to my Visa - for a stay that never happened.

What I’ve done since:

•	Called Marriott customer care - promised a refund, never received it and was asked to wait 5 business days.
•	Contacted Bonvoy program- told it’s the hotel’s problem and asked to contact the staff who approves refund at the property.
•	Called the hotel twice- directed to a staff member who was on personal emergency leave
•	Emailed the Assistant General Manager after he reached out- provided everything he asked for same day- five days of silence since
•	Eligible for a chargeback since May 25 but held off hoping Marriott would do the right thing

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Did the chargeback work? Does anyone have contacts at Marriott corporate who actually resolve these things?

Any help or advice from this community would be hugely appreciated.
