Offline galaxy conquest games

I really want to get into a mobile game like stellaris, I’ve been going at infinite galaxy for a little bit (I hate how guided the tutorial is lol, anyone know when the “click here” section will end?) but I would rather not be bothered by other players by getting attacked and having to keep up with people who are on constantly or even pay to win.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be space, but it’s my preferred setting because I like the scale… I just want something with a map that I can incrementally conquer and over take.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Edit- offline negotiable… If the online interactions are minimal I’ll take it

Finnish tango mission bug

I was following ahtis visions to the restricted area… got smoke in that area just before the big gap, respawned all the way back at the office… but now his visions aren’t showing up and I have absolutely NO idea how to get back there. I wasn’t exactly paying attention and I weirdly can’t find a video walkthrough that doesn’t just end for no reason EXACLTY where I get stuck at. Plz help

UPDATE- issue…

I finally found a walkthrough and… it looks bad…

My waypoint is in the restricted area, the painting to show ahtis visions is gone, and most problematically-

The cord to reach ocean view, and thus the restricted area, is gone…

Ive rebooted the game and everything. I’m getting worried my save is lowkey cooked.

Question for Anton and team-

How often, if ever, do you and your fellow devs and team members just leisurely play your own project? And if you’ve been in contact with other devs of other games, how common is it for devs to play their own games?

Does it just feel like being at work for you? I know I started hearing music differently when I started learning instruments, does something similar happen for video games for a game dev like yourself?

The thought just kinda occurred to me while watching the latest dev log and thinking how smoothly the game runs lol… my pc isn’t great. And I was like, he probably *has* to shell out for a good pc in order to showcase… I wonder if he uses that for himself from time to time. Lord knows I would lol.

Just a fun question I was curious about. I’m hyped for yalls new product as well :D

Edit- to other devs of any kind that happen across here, big or indie, vr or otherwise, feel free to give your take as well about gaming as someone who is professionally involved in the industry.
