Pickleball Fans? Interested in splitting Apex couples membership?

Hi pickleball players,

It's pretty hot outside (especially after work), so I've been trying to find indoor places to play pickleball. Other days, if the wind is high, it really messes up the play.

I currently have a single membership at Apex Pickleball Club & really love the social aspect of the game. I've meet many people there and most have been there from the beginning. The facility is the best in all of Austin - trust me, I've tried/been to them all. If you've never been, I would highly recommend checking it out.

Anyway, I was hoping to split the "couples" membership with someone (each person would pay ~$125/month + tax).

It's equivalent to all other indoor places in Austin, but worth it if you play often. I personally don't pay for other things like gym memberships or eating out often, so I don't mind cost. Would love to find someone whose planning to stay as a member for a while; not just a few months.

PM me if there is any interest and we can coordinate.

Noob Question: Transferring data from older Samsung Galaxy

Hi all,

Apologies for the rather noob question here as I don't switch phones often, but I just recently bought a OnePlus 13. I want to transfer my data, apps, contacts, etc. from my older phone (Samsung Galaxy S20).

I use stock Android and don't have anything unique like custom launchers or anything.

My main concerns are:

  1. I have a weather widget on my S20, so will I need to recreate that on the OP13 after transferring everything over?

  2. I have apps that I downloaded & installed (so not in the Google Play store). Will those transfer over & work.. or do I need anything special there?

  3. Will I need to setup my screens from scratch on the OP13? Like the icons/folders/etc. Should I be taking screenshots of those before I attempt this so I can make sure they are the same on the OP13 after the transfer?

With that said, what is the best method that I should use for transferring? I watched some YouTube videos and also found this website (https://www.oneplus.com/us/switch/steps). It appears there are various options.

  1. OnePlus Clone Phone app (making sure that is installed on both phones)

  2. Google Account/Cloud Setup Method (I will likely miss the apps app that I downloaded/installed manually)

  3. Manual transfer via PC

  4. Through Wifi (not sure of the details)? The user u/DestinyInDanger mentioned doing the entire setup through Wifi: https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/1pul4xl/best_way_to_switch_all_data_from_samsung_to/

I imagine many of you have gone through this before - so wondering if there is a preferred method? Are there pros/cons to these various methods? I always hate this part about switching phones, so I'm probably just overly cautious and overthinking this.

Thanks all!

What kind of issues does the OP15 have on T-Mobile?

Hi folks. I have been researching about the OnePlus 15 (OP15) and I have been on T-Mobile for a long time (as part of a family plan).

I am coming from an older Samsung phone, but since I've always had phones that are supported/carried by the carriers.. it was all easy peasy.

Are there any known issues specifically with T-Mobile? I'm from central Texas if it matters. I haven't read topics about T-Mobile issues, but it seems like they may be issues with using Wifi calling with AT&T specifically:
https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/1puv8sx/oneplus_15_wifi_calling/
https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus15/comments/1qhmwdn/so_no_att_wifi_calling/

I do often have to use WiFi calling as my house isn't the closest to cell towers. Are there any other known issues like this that I am overlooking?

I've read favorable articles on having great/strong signal with T-Mobile. I am wondering how much that's due to the phone vs the carrier expanding coverage. If anyone had other phones besides the OP15 on T-Mobile, has the signal strength improved for you? Or has it stayed about the same?

I want to pull the trigger on this phone, but just looking for advice from folks. Thanks for any input.
