What major historical war would be regarded as the ‘riskiest’ for a combatant on the winning side? (Meaning highest chance of injury or death) and how does that compare to WW1, WW2.

Whilst wars in the 20th century like ww1 and 2 were bigger and so had vastly higher absolute casualties than, say, the peninsular wars, or the 7 years war, is it more ‘dangerous’ to be a soldier in modern times than it was back then?

Found Mazda car keys on the beach

Found some Mazda car keys on the beach in Hove, at the bottom of Fourth Avenue on Monday around 7pm.

We were there for a couple of hours after we found them, but the people never came back (so likely staying locally). Tried blipping them up and down the road but no luck

anyway, we had to leave too so this morning we handed them in to Brighton Beach Office (unfortunately the hove police contact point is no longer in existence so this was the next best option)
