Lipstick On a Pig

I get it, a lot of people are going to say this was a waste of money, considering the condition of the rest of the engine bay. Well, it was worth it to me. I just need to clean and detail the rest of the engine bay and it will look better, albeit still some unsightly rust. Oh well. The price was reasonable in my opinion, and I did not feel like going through the process of refinishing my old valve cover.

Adjusted the valves and replaced the valve cover with one from this eBay seller - https://ebay.us/m/vmiClA. OEM valve covers cleaned & powder coated, excellent quality. Also have a new decal coming for the intake manifold plastic cover.

Make sure you turn your ratchets off when you're done with them to save battery. Also the next time you grab one you're probably going to be loosening something with them first and they're already ready to go!

The bracket bushing on my Cp-e stage 2 mount kit is showing some signs of age. You can clearly see the bushing is sandwiched in there with a plate and 5 fasteners making it fairly easy to replace just the bushing itself it would seem. I don't see that Cp-e lists a replacement bushing online anywhere, and I found another post saying they will replace the bushing for you if you send it to them, which is a cool service to offer, but it would be nice if they would sell just the bushing as well for people who can do it themselves.

Anyone else been through this or know where or how a replacement bushing can be sourced?

Thanks.

Any recommendations for a replacement valve cover? Would love an OEM one but they're $400-$450. See some aftermarket ones online under $100 or a little over but no idea of the quality. Anyone used an aftermarket one and can recommend either good or bad? Thanks.

Edit: For clarification this is my wife's car and I was getting ready to do a valve adjustment but stopped when I saw this. Did not like the idea of just putting this v/c back on, and if I could get a good aftermarket one for ~$100 I could wait and have that one ready and do the whole job at once. I am well aware refinishing this one is an option, however for somewhere around $100 it would be well worth it to me to do that instead of refinishing this one, which I am perfectly capable of doing but not really interested in taking the time to do.
