I am looking for some new music to dive into, and I'm not as diligent at searching for new music as I used to be. Some of my favourite albums are albums that have a lot of "personality". I don't really know how else to describe it.

I have been researching this game and I'm really looking forward to get started. I have previously played a lot of Yugioh and some MTG. My friend has the same TCG experience but doesn't know this game exists (yet!).

For his birthday I want to buy two booster boxes (1 each) and a precon set and learn the game together. What do you recommend for two people just getting started? I'm currently looking at the following combinations:

Option 1:
2X booster boxes of "Beta", 1 set of "The Four Elements" precons and split it 50/50 (2 decks each).

Option 2:
2X booster boxes of "Beta", 1 set of each "The Four Elements" and "Gothic" precons and split it (2 decks each per precon set, 4 decks each in total).

Option 3:
1X booster box of "Beta", 1 booster box of "Gothic", and both the "Four Elements" and "Gothic" precon sets, splitting all the booster boxes in half before opening packs. We would each take two precon starter decks from each set as in option 2.

Looking for advice on someone just starting the game. Should we go all in on "Beta" for our first dive into the game? Or should I spread the love and get a bit from both major sets? Either way, we will look into Arthurian Legends at a later date.
