Winnie is 11 weeks old tomorrow. She’s a morkie, but the Yorkie genes are strong with her. I was out watering the seedlings and discovered she likes to run through the hose spray. Our last morkie hated water.
Here’s our new gal, Winnie! She’s 10.5 weeks. She’s doing really well. She walked in day 1, made herself at home, and acted like she knew exactly what she was doing. She’s not picking up on potty training very well, but we’ll get there. She also likes to chase the chickens, but she’s learned quick that it’s a no and stops when told. I stay at home with my 2 sons, who I homeschool, so she gets lots of love all day.
We had another morkie, Honey, that we also got as a puppy. She passed just shy of 4 years old from 2 copperhead bites. I’ll never get over her traumatic loss. We weren’t sure if we should get another dog, but we really missed having one around. After getting Winnie, my son said it was a good idea and I agree. We didn’t divide our love, just multiplied it.
