Is it the best practice to always try to eliminate orange peel even if the oem paint has it?

got done painting for the first time and im pretty impressed with myself, but I was wondering if you guys always cut and buff or if its on a car to car basis

the original paint on the rest of the car has some orange peel which kinda made me wonder if its worth doing or not
