Me (19m) and my co-worker (19m) both work at a McDonalds. My co-worker who is somewhat new but understands basically everything and can do things independently does way too much for working at McDonalds. I admire his enthusiasm but he does the most for his position. For instance he tries to do everything the fastest like giving food to people by running around the work space area. He frequently bumps into me and others which somewhat annoys us. Another thing is he is over enthusiastic to customers making them visibly uncomfortable. It painfully cringes me out and disrupts the work environment but I can't find the words to say to him to take it slow.
Not trying to be edgy but I truly want to know why I should respect to people I never met before. Respect meaning like admiring people and looking up to them and overall treating them like they did something great beofre. Not the term RESPECTFUL which means having human decency like being polite and thoughtful. Those are 2 separate things. If respect is given and not earned, why should I give respect to random people I never met before?
