Undetectable AMH during chemical pregnancy…IVF appt scheduled.
Hi all, brand new to this group, thought I was just a 36 year old battling irregular (long) cycles/interfility. Didn’t realize how dire things would be til I got my AMH results last week.
I turned 36 a couple weeks ago, found out I was pregnant on my birthday, and by that weekend, it was clearly not progressing. A couple weeks earlier I had asked my OB/GYN to order AMH test for me realizing that all my hormone labs didn’t include AMH. They sent the labs to another state, Utah, and the results took seven days, after I had to reach out and request an update.
AMH came back “less than .003” but I had it drawn the day I realized the pregnancy wasn’t progressing. Anyone have any hopeful stories of false AMH readings during early pregnancy, miscarriage, or chemical? This is either my fourth or fifth chemical pregnancy, so these results just feel unreal and obviously absolutely devastating. Ive been scouring Reddit for anyone with results that low and haven’t seen anyone beyond .07 💔
We’ve scheduled an intro appointment with CCRM for IVF, but I’m gathering that with this AMH result, I probably wouldn’t be a candidate… Any hope, encouragement, or camaraderie in the grief that I’m feeling is appreciated. I’m sorry to see so many others going through this too.
