Humla — Nepal’s overlooked Himalayan destination 🇳🇵

Most people visiting Nepal have heard of Everest, Annapurna, Pokhara and Mustang. But there is another part of Nepal that deserves much more attention — Humla.

Humla is one of the most remote districts in Nepal, with incredible Himalayan landscapes, traditional villages, ancient monasteries, the Limi Valley, Saipal Himal and a culture that has remained relatively untouched by mass tourism.

I came across this video showcasing the beauty of Humla and wanted to share it here:

Tourism is heavily concentrated around a few famous destinations in Nepal. I hope more people will eventually discover places like Humla too. More responsible tourism could create opportunities for local communities, homestays, guides, small businesses and local services.

If you're planning to visit Nepal, consider going beyond the usual destinations and exploring somewhere less travelled.

Visit Humla. Discover a different side of Nepal. 🇳🇵
