How hard is JAPN 101?

I’m in my 4th year of psychology and still need to take a language. I really wanted to take ASL to fulfill that requirement, but unfortunately it’s not offered at UFV 😩. I am currently registered in JAPN 101 for the fall. I only speak English and I know about 20 words in Japanese that I learned as a kid. How intense is the course? I’ve put off taking a language this long because I’ve always assumed language classes are very difficult. I’m also afraid that the students in classes like French already know a lot and are taking the class for an easy A. I’m not sure if that would be the case, but it’s something that’s been on my mind.

Is anyone else finding the course availability and scheduling hard/weird?

I’m starting my 4th year in psychology and the class selection is bizarre. Almost all the classes are online and the ones that aren’t are evening classes. I still need to take a language and those are weird too. Is this a 3rd/4th year thing? It also looks like there are fewer available courses than usual. Is this just me?

I just placed a Shapermint order. I’m feeling tricked and taken advantage of. I was forced to add 2 extra items to my order before I was allowed to confirm my order. They processed my order before showing me the final total and having me confirm again. It says my order hasn’t been processed yet, but they have already charged my credit card and keep redirecting me when I try to cancel. I can’t find a way to talk to a person. I’m hoping my credit card company will be able to help since my order hasn’t been processed yet, but I’m not holding my breath. I’m in Canada if that matters.
