Took a taxi from the train station to the hotel. When we got off the taxi, we went to the back to take the luggage out. We have 3 luggages in total, and we took two out ourselves. The driver took out the last one.

When all of them were out, he pointed to a chipped spot on his car, claimed that we had chipped his car and demanded 20 euros. He started to get really heated, so we decided to just give him 15 and leave. However, I’m almost 100% sure that we did not chip his car.

Is this a common scam in Rome?

Both me and my sister have clusters of bites but no sign of bed bugs.

My sister woke up a few days ago with 4 bug bites on her leg, and today I woke up with 4 on my arm. I’m wondering if it’s bed bugs or another type of bug. I’ve already washed my sheets and checked my mattress, but haven’t seen anything. I’m going to check my frame next since it is wooden, but is there a possibility it isn’t bed bugs? We also sleep in separate rooms.

For context a couple days ago, we got all our windows replaced so im wondering if a bug could’ve flown in that way. Please help! Should we call an exterminator or wait for something else to happen?
