Complicated new job after exchange problem

I'm currently on maternity leave, employed in a school and currently due to go back in September. My husband and I are waiting to compete on a new build property eta middle of June and exchanged contracts last month. A few days ago I was offered a job in a nursery where my daughter can also attend. It means better hours, and I would be spending next to nothing for my daughter to attend nursery vs over £1000 a month if I was to remain in the school. I wouldn't be starting this new job or even resigning from my current job until after we complete on the house.

My new job want me to do all the relevant work checks like references, DBS, identity etc now. My question is, am I going to get in trouble with my mortgage provider? The salary is a little less a year and I would be starting on a 3 month probation but I would be saving so much more money a month with this new job which I plan to start at the end of July. Should I tell my mortgage provider and risk them pulling the mortgage offer or tell my new job I can't take it as I can't complete the checks until next month? I'm with Leeds building society and live in England if that helps.

Edit: If I were to tell my mortgage provider aboit my new job, do you think they would accept the new terms?

How do multi-lingual people think?

I'm not multi-lingual, but for those of you who are, when you are talking in a language which is not your first, what language do you think in? When you do speak in another language, are you translating all the time, or does it become second nature after a while, and you just know what people are saying to you without having to translate? Interested to know how all your brains work as I would love to be multi-lingual one day!

My baby has just turned 7 months old, and I have been feeding her purees or mashed foods so far. I want some more options for things I can feed her and thought I should try baby led weaning, but I am just so scared. I've tried some egg strips and now pasta exactly like I'm supposed to serve it, but she always just sucks the whole thing in her mouth and it scares the bejesus. How did everyone gain the confidence to let their babies do baby led weaning?

I love everything sparkly, and I would love to have a great non-transferable, very sparkly lipstick, but I can't seem to find a good one. I don't wear much makeup, so I would love a recommendation, please. Thank you 😊

I had this question years ago but forgot until now. Is anyone else's paperback copy of Breaking Dawn like this without the title printed on it? You can tell that they meant to print it as you can see some red bits where the title should be, but it isn't printed properly. So, has anyone else got a copy like this?
