Repotted the alocasia

Fall is in the air and I brought in the alocasia in a new pot. It grew well on our covered deck. Hoping it can get enough light inside.

Who can resist this face?

Our boy has mastered the fine art of begging for pizza 🍕

Bath time 🛁

Wish I had taken a picture of him in the tub, but it was an all hands on deck situation. He’s about 1.5yrs old and I have never seen so much fur. It covered everything, including the walls!

Then a few rounds of toweling and he’s almost dry. How is this possible? Somehow he shed more than our golden!

Curious much?

Are your akitas like this? He inspects everything! We removed the bottom bin because he could pull it out and dig into it. Now he finds lost toys back there.

Adding to the mosaic conversation

Found this at an antique shop for $5 a while back. How old do you think it is? I looked up the 800 and it said 80% silver plus other metals vs. the typical 925 or 92.5%.

Don’t you wish you could sleep this deeply?

He’s so cozy without a care in the world. How do your akitas sleep?

Escaped today

We have no idea how our boy got out today, but I’m suspecting that he snuck out while I was grabbing delivery from the door stop. All of a sudden, we couldn’t find him in the house and searched every room. A previous time he locked himself in the office and made no noise when called, so I thought it was a similar situation.

This time he was patrolling the outside of our fence in the neighbors’ yard. He came back for treats like “what’s the big deal?” How can this huge boy be such a Houdini? Please tell me we’re not the only ones who had this happen.

Are these copper?

I bought these at an antiques shop. They seem more modern than vintage to me, but who knows? Anyone know what type of metal this is? Could it be copper?
