[23/F] Looking for an English native pen pal for a simple and authentic friendship !
Hi ! I'm a 23F currently in a history major living in Belgium. I'm new here and I'm looking for a way to improve my writing in English. That's why I thought having an English snail mail would be great. From now on, I'm at a B2 level and my goal is to reach a solid C1. I'm a french native speaker so I can easily share my knowledge if you're interested in learning this language too !
First and foremost, I am looking for a genuine human connection and a true friend. I have a deep love for literature, history, arts, and I often write poetry or short stories in my free time. Writing on paper feels very natural to me, and I love the idea of sharing my thoughts this way. I love the entire traditional ritual of letters, from watching the ink dry to knowing that these pages will travel across the world to reach someone else.
Because I want to invest my time and care into this, I am only looking for one dedicated pen pal for now. To make sure we're on the same page, I'm looking for a penpal around my age who is a native English speaker. I've an insatiable curiosity so we can talk about absolutely anything like sharing our dreams, daily struggles, hobbies, cultural differences, studies... I read a lot so book discussions are always welcome !
