So I’ll get it out of the way and say that I lean left on most issues, I think our current form of capitalism needs reform, all that. But what I’ve noticed is that other leftys complain WAAYY too much, especially those in the Western world.

Guys…this is still part of the best era to be alive in history. Women aren’t forced to marry or dress modestly, you can say whatever you want for the most part (except on the Reddit lol), most of us don’t have mandatory military service…compared to the REST of humanity’s existence, we’re doing pretty good.

Yes, there are major concerns, such as environmental damage and belligerent world powers, but this era has been called LONG PEACE for a reason.

I used to participate in leftist/political subs, but I quit because everyone just focused on how much their lives sucked despite waking up in a climate-controlled apartment/house and typing on their smart phone with a coffee in their hand.

Yes, it could be better, but I just wish we could be a bit more grateful.
