Help needes!

Hey everyone just wanted to say thanks for the help with my breaks. Im on to my next issue now. Me and my friend did a full clean of the carbs and pilots. We rode it around at about 55 to see how it felt after and it rode great. Now the next day you cant push throttle in neutral without it bogging down and killing the engine. We think its getting fuel starved by either a clogged fuel filter or the petcock isnt worming correctly but I wanted to reach out see what you all think. Right now the battery is bad so I had it connected to the car for a video so you can see what I mean (the car is off). It was warm and choke was fully down. Its a 1984 honda shadow vt500. Thanks for reading and I appreciate all the help. This is my first mechanical project and its been alot of fun learning how it works.

To preference, im new to working on things with engines so I wanted to reach out for help. I changed the tire on my 1984 honda shadow vt500 but the front breaks got pumped while the tire was off. Now I have stuck pads and feel like im out of options cause I dont know what im doing. This is the last thing I need to get this bike road worthy and its felt very defeating.

I was changing the front tire and the front brake got pumped. Now the pistons are extended and I cant get the caliper back on the rotor. Ive never done anything mechanical so this bike is like my first project. What steps do I need to take to loosen the pressure to get those pistons back down!! I can see the master cylinder reservoir on the handler bar is to high atm but thats about my extent on knowledge with this. I have a 1984 honda shadow vt500 if that helps

I recently bought a 1984 vt500 and the front tire is so rotted I need a new one. I just got the new one in and as I was taking off the speedocable the screw hole cracked in half as soon as I got the screw out. How easy of a fix is this? This is the first mechanical thing ive started working on my own. What does this cable do? I just ordered a new one but I dont have an email on delivery.
