It’s just not fair

Just want to speak out my thoughts and see if more people resonate with me. Just to clarify the post is not meant to offend or disrespect anyone’s beliefs. Chill out people!

So lately I have been thinking about life here, in India. When I was younger, like in school-college, I used to think I will have a lot more fun, enjoyment when I grow up because I do not have the money to travel or live at some amazing place right now. But now, as I have a decently paying job, good company, can take decent amount of leaves, having a few good friends, still I am stuck in my flat all day, all weekends. The problem now is I cannot go out because it is fucking hot, like 9/12 months we literally cannot go and plan any trips. On top of that, there’s literally no good places to enjoy nature, have a relaxing day apart from malls and cafes and theatres in the metro cities now. The government has made no facilities at all with all the fucking tax we pay. There’s literally not one well-maintained place where I can go hike or spend time in nature around me.

I recently visited US on a business trip, and it just hit me, the public facilities are just soo good. After work, people can go around for hiking trails, parks, well-maintained places with clean air and calm. Even after paying soo high tax here, we don’t get anything. When I think, there are a lot of people out there in other countries, who are having a much better life and here I am even after putting all my efforts during school, college etc to get a food job, earn good money and still I am not half as happy as they are, it’s just not fair.

Lastly, I honestly love the culture we have, I love my family and friends I have with god’s grace. The rant is not about comparing India as a country with somewhere else, it’s about the un-fairness we have, lack of civic sense even among so called “educated” individuals, and the geographical condition of the country that is definitely going to get worse.

For the Techies

Hey techies of Hyderabad, I have been wondering for a while, how are you making new friends around here apart from office people?
I have been here almost a year now, trying to figure things out, working in corporate, and I genuinely miss my college friends. I still couldn’t figure out how to make new friends here.
It’s not like I haven’t tried stuff, I am regular at playing different sports, going to gym etc, but most people I find there are far from my age group (20-24)….so don’t need the advice to join any kind of clubs etc.

A little about myself, I love watching movies, I watch like a movie a day. I in into health and fitness, I try to go to gym regularly, into all kinds of sports, be it running or swimming or badminton. I like cafe-hopping, exploring new places, into playing musical instruments, don’t like clubbing or drinking (just saying)…into any sorts of art related stuff, raisin art or pottery or simply sketching.

Need your suggestions or if anyone is up for hangout!!
