Only one who cares way less about the screen/display than reviews make it seem?

Only one who cares way less about the screen/display than reviews make it seem?

Before buying the r50 I went through way too many reviews and one thing that kept coming up was people complaining about the display/app experience. Maybe I’m just not the target audience for super advanced stats, but after using it for a while I realized I barely pay attention to the screen itself most of the time anyway. I usually just throw on music or a podcast, row for 20–30 mins, and check the basics after. Distance/time/calories is honestly enough for me. The app tracking has been fine too for keeping some consistency without obsessing over numbers every session!

Not saying people are wrong for caring about detailed metrics, especially if they’re training seriously, but some reviews made it sound borderline unusable and that definitely hasn’t been my experience. Feels like people forget how budget friendly the r50 is compared to a C2. At basically around half the price, I wasn’t expecting some insane pro-level display setup in the first place!

Favorite gift ideas (under and around $50) for Moms

My list of thoughtful gifts that moms can actually enjoy and cost less than $50:

  1. Tote bag filled with small gifts (i.e. a mug, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, etc)
  2. Quality time with a fun activity date.
  3. Kitchen utensils. Olive or acacia wood, specifically. They're durable & long lasting as well as great looking.
  4. A mini powerbank that comes in really cute colors like P50. People don't say it out load that much but most moms have battery anxiety.
  5. Massage, facial, manicure or a gift certificate from her hair stylist.

What more can we add into this?
