Verification loop
My dad’s WhatsApp account suddenly got logged out after he had been using WhatsApp Web for a long time, with frequent location/network changes. When we tried to log back in on his iPhone, WhatsApp initially showed that the account was suspended. Then it changed to “Your account is ready to verify” / “Verify now.” However, whenever we tap Verify, it just takes us back to the same login/verification screen, creating an endless loop. We’ve tried Wi-Fi, mobile data, reinstalling WhatsApp, and waiting, but nothing has worked. The account isn’t actually showing as permanently banned anymore, but we still can’t complete verification or receive the verification code.
