Should I be terrified?

Hey everyone, I am in the car shopping for a couple of months now and have finally narrowed my options to just two cars -Civic and Camry hybrids. I initially preferred Accord a lot but its price is way above my budget.

Although I like Camry for it being spacious and roomy than Civic, I like the feel of driving a civic. But with recent recall counts on Honda hybrids, I am not able to make a decision.

Hence, thought to hear from the current (2025, 2026) civic hybrid owners on how good / bad the recalls issues are? Is it really a thing to debate?

Hi, I have a regular job that is just enough to survive. I have been renting cars almost every weekend making my monthly spending at least 400-500$ including gas. But now wanting to own a car since travelling to take the rentals is too much and we managed to live in Canada for more than 3 years without a car.

Hence, thinking about buying a car but worried if I will be financially struggling. Hence thinking of doing uber ride and delivery, hoping the income from that can pay out for the car monthly payment + insurance + gas. I can do part-time around 15-20 hours per week including weekends.

Can any real uber drivers enlighten me if my math is incorrect or expecting too much?
