Selected for TCS Prime 2026 through NQT - Need Insights on OL Timeline, Training, and Project Allocation

Hi everyone,

I’m a final-year CSE student and was recently selected for TCS Prime through TCS NQT 2026.

I’d like to understand what the onboarding process is typically like for TCS Prime candidates.

For those who have joined TCS Prime, could you please share:

  1. How long it took to receive your Offer Letter and Joining Letter after selection.
  2. How long the initial training period lasted.
  3. The type of project you were assigned after training.
  4. The technical skills TCS expected from you as a fresher.

My background: MERN stack, DSA, and machine learning.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.

Selected for TCS Prime 2026 - Need Some Guidance

Hi everyone, I was recently selected for TCS Prime through NQT.

I had a few questions for those who have already joined:

  1. How long did it take to receive your Offer Letter and Joining Letter?
  2. How long was the training period?
  3. What kind of projects were you allocated to after training?
  4. What skills does TCS expect from Prime freshers?

Would really appreciate any insights from current or former TCS Prime employees. Thanks!

Finally got TCS Prime Offer Letter 🙏❤️

Thanks to everyone here who kept posting their experiences and timelines. Reading those posts gave me a lot of hope while waiting for my result.

TCS NQT was on April 21st.

Interview was on May 7th.

Offer letter received on May 18th.

NQT Experience:

Aptitude and reasoning went okay okay for me. Not too good, not too bad.

In the coding round, the easy question was Toeplitz Matrix. Honestly, I couldn't fully understand the question and managed to pass only 4 test cases.

The medium question went much better. I was able to solve it completely and passed all 7 out of 7 test cases.

After the exam, I was not sure whether I would get shortlisted because the easy question and quant did not go that well.

Interview Experience:

My interview was mainly focused on the projects in my resume.

Thankfully, I had included full-stack projects that I had built myself and understood thoroughly.

The interviewer asked me to explain my projects in detail and went deep into the frontend, backend, database, APIs, authentication, and deployment.

He also asked about my Telegram bot built using n8n. The funny part was that he asked me to bring my phone and demonstrate it live.

After that, he asked a few basic OOP and DBMS questions.

Since I had worked on the projects myself, I was able to answer most of the questions confidently, and overall the interview went well.

This is a little emotional for me because my college life is about to end, and until today I had no offer letters.

Getting selected for TCS Prime has given me a huge relief and a lot of confidence.

If you are waiting for your result, do not lose hope. Stay patient.

Your turn to post a success story is coming soon.

All the best to everyone preparing for TCS NQT and interviews! ❤️🙏

TCS NQT May 7 Interview Update (Chennai Location)

Hi everyone,

I attended my TCS Prime/Digital interview on May 7 in Chennai.

The interview was quite relaxed and lasted around 20–30 minutes. Most of the discussion was focused on my projects and internship experience. The interviewer asked me to explain my major projects, the technologies I used, and some practical questions based on them.

Interestingly, there were no DSA, SQL, OOP, or puzzle questions. The overall conversation was friendly and informal.

I wanted to know if anyone else who attended the TCS NQT interview on May 7 (especially in Chennai) has received any updates regarding their results.

  • Have you received an offer or status update?
  • How long does TCS usually take to announce results after the interview?
  • If your interview was project-focused like mine, what was the outcome?

Would appreciate any updates or insights from others who attended around the same date.

Thanks in advance!
