How do I contact a real lerson

I'm going insane. I've just moved out and am trying to set up internet. I have applied to two providers one after another and both have told me that they are unable to set up internet to my property due to an issue with my copper line or something.

The first said that my copper line already had a phone line on it and I would have to find a way to cancel it myself otherwise I wouldn't be able to set up internet on it. The thing is, me nor the landlord own whatever phone line it is and have no idea how to cancel it.

The second provider told me that when they try to connect internet it comes back as an error and that I will need to contact NBN.

I've tried calling their phone line several times and every single option sends you to an automated message with no actual person to speak to. I don't know what to do at this point I don't want to wait 5 days just to get a response via email.

How can I utilise this space?

I just moved into this small apartment. My room is decently sizable but needs to fit at least a queen bed and a desk as the rest of the apartment is too small to fit a work desk anywhere else. The room is 3.4m X 4.6m but the walls are not totally straight so it's difficult to place a bed really anywhere than where it is currently, though I've toyed around with moving it to the back wall somehow. What could I add and how could I position furniture in this room to make it not feel too cramped but also for it to fit two larger pieces in it with storage to spare? Is it possible?
