Does anyone play with both damage settings on “Extreme”?

I always play with both “Enemy Combat Damage” and “Player Combat Damage” set to Extreme, because Starfield felt way too easy to me combat-wise. Only by setting both options to Extreme did it become at least somewhat interesting. Even then, I almost never felt like I could actually die.

But now that Bethesda has finally fixed the issue that kept me from continuing the Terran Armada DLC, and I’m finally playing it... damn, those triple-shield enemies showing up at my level (146) are making me burn through more mags and medkits than I ever did in my previous 780 hours of gameplay.

I like actually having to sweat in Starfield. It’s the first time it’s happened to me.

The new Borderlands 4 patch has been installed. It took a very long time compiling shaders, and once in the game, it runs terribly. It stutters constantly—it’s unplayable. And just so you know, I have a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and an Nvidia RTX 5090.
