Received a work cold call on my personal mobile, told they use an AI lead generator

I recently started a new job and received a cold call from another business trying to see advertising space. Issue is this call came to my personal mobile, which has no connection to the company I just started.

I asked them how they got my number and they told me they use an ai lead generator to get potential client information. They knew where I worked so it wasn’t like they were calling any number.

Firstly, is this a common and acceptable way to create new leads, and how has this found and connected my personal number, and connected it to a job I only started weeks ago?

(It isn’t LinkedIn as I don’t have my number connected to me account)

The bar situation was a bit of shambles at the boxing last night

Thought I’d go along to the boxing at the Keepmoat last night to support a big event in our home town. Was good for the most part but the bar was a shambles:

- Tried to get served in the north stand bar, waited half an hour and just gave up
- Heard the west stand bar queue was shorter so went there and it still took over 45 minutes
- The bars were woefully understaffed. Speaking to one server, she said she’d been working since 12 (was 8.30pm by this point) and told us she’d not been allowed to take her break all day which is a disgrace.

All felt a little bit embarrassing as there was people from all over the country who came last night. It’s shortsighted penny-pinching to not hire more staff who could’ve served 100s-1000s more orders.
